Dr Andri Ioannou (female) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts of the Cyprus University of Technology (Limassol- Cyprus).
Andri has a Ph.D. in Educational Technology and an MA in Education both from the University of Connecticut (USA), and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus. Her research work, via the Cyprus Interaction Lab (https://www.cyprusinteractionlab.com/) and EdMedia-CYENS (https://edmedia.cyens.org.cy/) contributes to key areas of educational technology, including the design and evaluation of technology-enhanced learning environments, the use of technology to support skills within a 21st century framework with a focus on digital skills, technology integration in all levels of education towards supporting digital transformation and digital capacity, and assessment & evaluation.
Andri loannou has more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications in highly cited international journals and conferences (for example: Educational Technology Research and Development - ETRD, Computers in Human Behavior, Interacting with Computers, Behaviour & Information Technology etc.) and prestigious refereed conference proceedings (for example: ICLS, CSCL INTERACT, ECTEL etc.). She currently serves on the editorial board the editorial boards of ETRD-Springer, TechTernds-Springer, and Contemporary Educational Technology.
Andri has been involved as a principal investigator (PI), local coordinator, or researcher in more than 20 research projects, funded by the European Union and national grants.
Andri has served as the chair of her Department from May 2020 to May 2023 and as a member of the University Senate from March 2017 to March 2020.
